This seminar will provide a vital and timely update on the far-reaching tax and trust developments that have occurred throughout the last year, some of which come into effect in 2008. Legal issues will be clearly examined and explained, with actual case studies and practical guidance included in order to address the issues raised.
The day will conclude with an analysis of key emerging offshore planning vehicles and the opportunities they provide to intermediaries and practitioners.

- The taxation of resident but non-domiciled individuals
- Jersey trusts and the Italian White List
- Key provisions of the UK Companies Act 2006 and Money Laundering Regulations 2007
- New offshore corporate planning vehicles
