NameGuard is the most sophisticated company name watching service available. Jordans’ monitors every new limited company name that appears on the UK Companies Register and reports them to you if they are ‘too close’ to your own name, so you can investigate further and take prompt action to protect your IP rights against possible trade mark infringement or ’passing off’.
You set the criteria – so you can monitor one or a range of similar names (for example, with different spellings but the same phonetic sound), as well as ‘nick names’ or abbreviations of your company’s name.
We send you monthly reports, which include both new incorporations and changes of name, and include the registered offices of any companies reported. We can also provide follow-up information for any company that causes you concern.
