- Delay in Companies Act 2006 implementation
The Government announced today (Wednesday, 7 November 2007) that implementation of the Companies Act 2006 is being delayed by one year, so that the final implementation date will be 1 October 2009 rather than 1 October 2008. The reason given for the delay is to give Companies House more time to amend its systems and processes. Read more
