What's New?

Searching by Directors name a searching facility to enable you to find a company by entering a directors name, which will display a list of directors starting with the name or part name entered. If a postal area is entered, only directors residing in that postal area are shown.

Searching by Shareholder name a searching facility to enable you to find a company by entering shareholders name or company name, which will display a list of shareholders starting with the name or part name entered. The companies for which they hold shares are shown.

Searching by Foreign Owned name a searching facility to enable you to find a UK company who are owned by a foreign company by entering the country or company name, which will display a list of the foreign companies/UK subsidiaries in the selected country that have UK subsidiaries.

How do I change my log on details?

Any detail on your registration can be amended, i.e.: add additional users, change existing users, or deletions. Contact denise_Sebastian@jordans.co.uk or telephone 0117 918 1283.

How do I become an Account holder?

To become an account holder please click here or telephone 0117 918 1283. New accounts are available instantly to Solicitors, Accountants and the Legal profession. You can also order reports using a credit card.


As an Account holder how will I be charged?

Your registration will be linked to your Jordan's account number and all online orders are invoiced automatically, simultaneously and emailed to your log on email address.


What if I do not want an invoice raised every time I order a report?

As a Jordan account holder you can have your account tagged for monthly invoicing. You would receive a monthly invoice with all online usage that month. Contact denise_Sebastian@jordans.co.uk or telephone 0117 918 1283 to arrange for your account to be tagged.


As a Credit Card user how will I be charged?

Your credit card details will be authorised and debited prior to you viewing your online order(s) an invoice will be created within 24hrs confirming your payment and emailed to your log on email address.


How do I order company searches not available via the website?

For all other company searches and copies of statutory documents filed at Companies House, other than accounts or annual returns, please go to Jordans Business Information.


How long will my orders be available to view in Recent Orders?

Orders are held for 7 days.


How much are the reports?

Company Credit Report - £20.00 + vat
Know Your Client Report -£10.00 + vat
Copy of latest Annual Return & latest Accounts - £4.00 + VAT
Copy of latest Annual Return - £2.50 +VAT
Copy of latest Accounts - £2.50 +VAT

What are the system requirements for viewing this website?

The requirements are a web browser with both cookies and JavaScript enabled.


I want to send the report to a different email address than my log on email address?

This can be done from the 'My Basket' screen, which appears once you have selected the company, type of report required and 'Add to Basket'.


What are the filing requirements for Small and Medium size Companies?

Latest set of Accounts plus any others specifically requested. Please note the disclosure in Company Accounts for Small & Medium sized companies:

Certain Companies referred to in the Companies Act 1985 as Small or Medium sized Companies are permitted to deliver modified account to the Registrar of Companies. In addition, parent companies need not prepare group accounts if the group of companies headed by the parent company is a Small or Medium sized group.

The test is whether the company satisfies two out of the three criteria:


Small Company Criteria, prior to 30/01/2004and since
1.Turnover less than £2,800,000£5,600,000
2.Balance Sheet total less than £1,400,000£2,800,000
3.Average Number of employees less than 50,still 50


Filing implications
The company does not have to file a Profit & Loss Account or details on the Number of Employees and need only file abridged Balance sheet information.

2.Balance Sheet total less than £5,600,000£11,400,000

What is a QuiRating & QuiScore ?

The QuiScores and QuiRatings, which are developed and maintained by CRIF Decision Solutions Limited, take into account a range of factors.

These include the presence of any adverse documents appearing against the company on the public file and the timeliness of getting the accounts filed.

In addition, the underlying economic conditions are factored in to the equation. However, the most important factors relate to the financial performance of the company as evidenced by their balance sheet and profit and loss account. In determining a score, a number of separate calculations are performed using various combinations of the key financial items - these include turnover, pre-tax profit, working capital, intangibles, cash and bank deposits, creditors, bank loans and overdrafts, current assets, current liabilities, net assets, fixed assets, share capital, reserves, shareholders funds. Please note that the historical QuiScores and QuiRatings shown for the latest years may differ from the current and previous QuiScores and QuiRatings.

This is due to the fact that the calculations of historical scores and ratings are based on criteria available for the company at the time that the accounts were filed. As such, they do not take into account any subsequent events.
