Jordans Jordans Limited

The Companies Act 2006 – directors’ duties and recent changes – what’s the risk?

With the final phase of the Companies Act implemented, the changes are now beginning to have some real bite. The practical implications of these changes represent a real challenge for both companies and their directors.

During the seminar, Jordans’ expert speakers will explore topics such as:

  • Directors and the Companies Act – codified duties and service addresses
  • Constitution – articles - changes and updating
  • Share capital – reduction of capital and other recent changes
  • Practical session covering recent experiences and solutions
  • Risks for directors and action points
    - conflicts of interests – practicalities
    • - Insolvency Act – section 214 and personal liability
    • - other risk areas

Using case studies to outline the problems and issues companies are facing, we will be suggesting practical solutions that you can take away with you.
