Updated: Small Business Enterprise and Employment Act 2015

*New Updates*

Some say the only constant in life is change. Here at Jordans we may be inclined to agree that it is especially true in business!

The Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 (sometimes known as SBEEA) received Royal Assent on 26 March 2015 and set out a timeline of phases in which the portions of the new law will come into force. Over the summer months, some of these dates have changed.

With that in mind, we've created an infographic with the latest changes to the dates of implementation for major elements of the Act to help you remember when you'll need to take action to ensure your company is compliant. One of the changes that has already come into force is regarding bearer shares. You can read more about that here.

Whether you have been in business for years, or you've just formed your new company, these changes are likely to have an impact. If you're not yet setting up a new UK company, but will within the next 12 months, it will likely be worthwhile for you to review the new regulatory requirements.

If you have questions about how SBEEA will affect your business, or would like additional insight on what new information will soon be required when registering a company, get in touch with us here.
